Every photograph has a story. Some moments lasted only a split second, while others unfolded over days. These are the stories behind some of my favorite images.
Easter Island
As the first light of day began to rise over the horizon, I heard rustling and the sound of running footsteps. Unsure of what was coming, I froze. Moments later, as the sun gently illuminated the landscape, a small herd of wild horses emerged, galloping in front of Ahu Tongariki. It was one of the most magical moments I've ever experienced.
